This Brilliant Blend is a beautiful and colourful mix of lentils, spicy radish, and peas. It is a hearty, crunchy blend that makes an excellent addition to any dish for added texture, nutrition, and vibrant colour.

🌿 Nutritional Profile

Brilliant Blend sprouts provide vitamins A, B-complex, C, and E, along with beta carotene and potassium. They are rich in anthocyanins, indole compounds, iron, fibre, phosphorus, zinc, calcium, magnesium, and other essential minerals. The radish component is particularly high in antioxidants, often noted for having more antioxidant activity than many other sprouts.

Seed Storage: To prolong viability, store seeds in the refrigerator. For long-term storage, seeds may be kept in the freezer.

  • Lentils: A hearty sprout rich in iron, fibre, phosphorus, and B vitamins that support digestion and energy production.
  • Spicy Radish: Adds zesty crunch and is exceptionally high in antioxidants, including protective indole compounds.

🌱 Soaking & Sprouting Instructions (Jar Method)

Soak: Put 1–2 Tbsp. seed in a wide mouth jar with a sprouting lid. Add water, swirl, and drain. Refill jar with fresh water and soak 6–8 hours or overnight.

Drain & Invert: Drain well and invert jar at an angle on a sprouting rack, or in a bowl or drain rack.

Rinse: Twice a day, refill jar with cool water, swirl gently, and drain thoroughly by tapping excess water from jar.

Harvest: Ready to eat in approximately 4–6 days.

🌬 Drying & Storage

  • Sprouts keep best when they are thoroughly dry.
  • After your final rinse, allow sprouts to sit inverted for several hours to remove excess moisture.
  • If storing immediately after rinsing, spin dry first.
  • Store in an airtight container lined with a paper towel for moisture control.
  • Replace the paper towel as needed if damp.

Properly dried sprouts can last up to 10 days in the fridge.
