Brown flax microgreens form a dense, lush green mat with a mild, slightly nutty flavour. Best grown in a tray (not a jar), as flax seeds naturally form a gel when soaked.

Flaxseed is nutrient-dense and contains minerals, fibre, anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants (lignans), and vitamins including B6 and folate. Also provides iron, potassium, and zinc.
Seed Storage: To prolong viability, store seeds in the refrigerator. For long-term storage, seeds may be kept in the freezer.

🌿 Tray / Microgreen Growing Instructions
Days to Grow: 8–10 days
Soak Time: No Soak
Yield: 2 Tbsp (30 g) yields approximately 2–3 cups of microgreens.
Seeding Density (10" x 20" tray): 20 g (standard density) to 32 g (heavy density).
- Pre-moisten soil, hemp mat, or paper towel in a shallow tray.
- Spread seeds evenly over the surface. Do not soak.
- Mist lightly.
- Cover with a second tray or humidity dome for 2–3 days.
- Remove cover once seedlings push up and move to bright indirect light.
- Water gently as needed (bottom watering preferred).
- Harvest when greens reach desired height.
🌬 Drying & Storage
- After harvest, ensure greens are dry before storing.
- Pat dry gently on a paper towel if needed.
- Store dry in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Line the container with a paper towel for moisture control and replace as needed if damp.
