An easy seed to sprout that is mild and tasty and so good for you! These 5-day sprouts are similar to alfalfa, but even easier to grow and have a mild-sweet flavour.
🌿 Nutritional Profile
Red clover sprouts are a fresh, living food you can easily grow at home and add to meals daily.
Seed Storage: To prolong viability, it is best to store them in the fridge. If you store your seeds in the freezer, they’ll last indefinitely!

🌱 Soaking & Sprouting Instructions (Jar Method)
Days to Sprout: 4–5
Soak Time: 4–8 hours
Yield: 15 g of dry seed yields approximately 1–1.5 cups of sprouts.
- Soak: Put 1–2 Tbsp seed in a wide mouth jar with a sprouting lid. Add water, swirl, and soak 4–8 hours.
- Drain: Drain well and invert jar at a 45° angle in a bowl or sprouting rack.
- Rinse: Twice daily, refill jar with cold water, swirl, and drain well.
- Enjoy! Ready to eat in 4–5 days.
🌿 Tray / Microgreen Growing Instructions
- Pre-moisten soil or a grow mat in a shallow tray.
- Spread seeds evenly over the surface.
- Mist lightly and cover with a second tray or humidity dome.
- Stack and weight lightly in the dark for 2–3 days.
- Once sprouted and pushing up, remove weight and uncover.
- Move to bright indirect light.
- Water gently as needed (bottom watering preferred).
- Harvest when greens reach desired size.
🌬 Drying & Storage
- After the final rinse, allow sprouts to grow another half day so they absorb excess moisture.
- Pat dry gently on a paper towel.
- Store dry in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Line the container with a paper towel for moisture control and replace as needed if damp.
🌾 Yield & Value
Each 150 g package ($9) yields approximately 10–15 cups of fresh sprouts at about $0.60–$0.90 per cup, depending on how long you let them grow.
